Hints, Cool Sites, and Rules

My classes are not designed to create stress and difficulty. However, I do expect students to put out their best effort. Here are a few hints to help you in being successful in my class.

1 - Maintain good attendance.
2 - Don't be tardy.
3 - Do all bonus assignments.
4 - Keep up with reading assignments.
5 - Keep your notebook current.
6 - Pay attention in class.
7 - Good behavior promotes good performance!

1. Be on time and be prepared. Bring your book, notebook, folder, agenda book, and writing utensils. Be in your seat when the bell rings and ready to engage yourself in the learning process. Take responsibility for your own education.

2. Treat others with respect.

3. When you speak, please do so in a polite and politically-correct manner.

4. You don't have to agree with another's opinion, but you should be respectful of their right to have it.

5. Leave my room as you found it.

6. Respect the propertyof others.

7. No candy, food, or drinks.

8. Please do not comb your hair, apply make-up, or use cologne.

9. Make-up work is your responsibility.

10. I do not accept late assignments. Turn the work in when it is due or receive a grade of "0."

11. Follow all rules and codes of conduct in the Johnston City High School handbook.
